Kevin Owens is just too good. WWE may not realize it yet, but they usually figure it out eventually, somehow. They tried to hold down CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, until their hand was forced to give them each a push. Within a year, we could see the same thing happen to Owens. The man was given an explosive debut , but now he€™s found himself in the mid-card, which could lead fans to join his cause for better things.

It was rumored that Owens was lobbying for a Mania match against Brock Lesnar this year, but Ambrose was chosen for the role instead. It seems too bad that didn€™t it go down, but maybe some extra time to rebuild Owens will work out for the best in the long run. On the entire roster, there€™s only a select few that look even somewhat believable against Brock in a fight. Due to Owens€™ size, attitude, and moveset, he€™s one of them.

Hopefully the roles will reverse themselves by the time Mania 33 comes around with Owens firmly entrenched as a babyface in the vein of a Punk anti-authority type. Brock could go all-in on being a heel, which he€™s far better suited for, and we could have quite the clash of styles and personalities.

Just imagine the promos between Kevin Owens and Paul Heyman and try not get excited for this heavyweight battle.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
