Wrestler Teases HUGE Match With Cody Rhodes In WWE

Nick Aldis has called on Triple H to make the call and help set up a rematch with old rival Cody Rhodes in WWE.

The former NWA World Champion is currently serving a suspension from Billy Corgan's promotion, and it looks like his days are numbered in the NWA. Apparently not keen to sit around doing nothing, Aldis told Wrestling Inc that he'd love to work opposite Cody someday.

This is surely the Brit's way of making moves away from the NWA towards something new - wrestling fans have always wondered if Aldis would ink a WWE deal too. Could it happen? Nick would be up for it if the Rhodes carrot was dangled in front of him.

Aldis enjoyed working with Cody elsewhere, and he's been frustrated for years that another rematch never happened. Now, he wants new WWE boss Triple H to make it possible. Nick also thinks Aldis vs. Rhodes would "make nothing but money" for all concerned if the story was handled properly.

Watch this space. If Cody starts talking about this too, then Aldis to WWE might become something to keep an eye on.
