Wrestling Legend Recalls "Overwhelming" WWE Creative Role

Working to Vince McMahon's unique schedule was a painful process for this WWE legend.

WWE Hall Of Famer and former 'Million Dollar Man' gimmick Ted DiBiase has revealed he was "always sweating" about even catching a flight home when he worked on the company's creative team.

DiBiase told 'Everybody's Got A Pod' that working underneath Vince McMahon as a creative consultant was often "overwhelming". One of the most stressful parts of the job was actually waiting for an opportunity to speak with McMahon about something - Vince was constantly busy, so writers had to sit around for hours biding their time.

That was rather frustrating, especially when the boss then ripped everything up and decided to "start over". An entire day of hard work could vanish in seconds, and then everyone was faced with the prospect of brainstorming more ideas and waiting all over again.

Ted was spared the trouble of Vince's phone calls in the middle of the night ("I know I never got that call"), but he did witness some of McMahon's little quirks up close and personal. For example, it was an eye-opening moment to DiBiase when learning that Vince only slept for approx four hours per night.

The whole experience was fascinating, but painful.
