WTF Is ACTUALLY Going On With Naomi Right Now?! (WWE News)

New details on Naomi after being pulled from this week's WWE Raw.

Initially scheduled to defend the Women's World Championship against Iyo Sky on Monday night, WWE announced that Naomi had been pulled from that match due to not being medically cleared. And now, there's somewhat of an update on this situation.

Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports that Naomi was backstage at Quebec City's Videotron Centre for Raw, but no specifics are known on why she was not cleared, with this report adding how this situation was "very much kept quiet from other talents".

Elsewhere, the latest Wrestling Observer Radio saw Bryan Alvarez say how there's a rumour going round in WWE that, if it is indeed true, Naomi "is going to be out for a long, long time". On top of that, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp has been told that, while it's unclear exactly what's happening, "it's legit, whatever it is".

As mentioned, there are no details about the specifics of this situation right now, with speculation that it could be a serious injury or that Naomi could be pregnant. Again, that is purely rumour and speculation now, so it should be treated as such.

In addition to Naomi vs. Iyo being scrapped from Raw, a backstage interaction between Sky and Stephanie Vaquer indicated that Naomi might also be missing Clash in Paris on 31 August. There, Vaquer was/is due to challenge Naomi for the Women's World Championship after winning a battle royal at WWE Evolution, though backstage comments from La Primera suggest that the match could be in jeopardy.

Naomi and her husband Jimmy Uso are due to appear on Stephanie McMahon's What's Your Story podcast on Thursday, so it remains to be seen whether any more light will be shed on this ongoing situation during that interview.
