WWE: 10 Attitude-Era Wrestlers Who Never Won A Title
8. Gangrel
When Gangrel made his official debut in 1998, he certainly had everything in his favor for a successful run. The announcers treated his as a huge threat, he was aligned with popular and exciting newcomers Edge and Christian, and he was given quite-possibly the single-greatest entrance in the history of professional wrestling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0q7PPu_NIg Unfortunately for Gangrel, he didn't get much farther than having a cool entrance. He did take on European Champion X-Pac at the 1999 Royal Rumble, surprising many by falling to the degenerate in under seven minutes. He had a handful of Hardcore Championship matches against champions Road Dogg, Test, and Steve Blackman in 2000, and that was it. It was his partners Edge and Christian (and later Matt and Jeff Hardy from the New Brood) who had the greatest success in WWE. But hey, that entrance was still pretty cool, huh?
