WWE: 10 Best Submission Finishers Today

1. Yes! Lock (Daniel Bryan)

Of course, one of those smaller wrestlers who very well might lock horns with Brock Lesnar is the submission specialist himself, Daniel Bryan. And right now, no one gets a bigger reaction for anything he does in the ring than Bryan. So it€™s no wonder that his version of the LeBell Lock would top any submission finisher list. (While the Yes! Lock is Bryan's finisher, he still has the Cattle Mutilation and the surfboard/Dragon sleeper combo that he's put on Seth Rollins a few times. either of those could close out a match.) It€™s almost cringe-worthy to make this comparison, but Bryan€™s Yes! Lock is similar to Benoit€™s crippler crossface in that both involve trapping the arm and wrenching back on the head and neck, both can be slapped on in a heartbeat and both get an immediate and huge reaction from fans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slANAE_OgAw If Brock and Bryan hook up in a battle of the Beard vs. the Beast, you could very well see a submission battle for the ages. These two could pull out all the stops €“ not just their signature finishers. Perhaps in such a matchup, we would see a new submission finisher emerge to top the list.
