WWE: 10 Best Turns In WrestleMania History

7. Vince McMahon At WrestleMania 16 (2000)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bL-O2mANg8 Is it WrestleMania 16 or 2000? It's both. Whatever it's called, it was a show that had a controversial finish thanks to the actions of the WWE Chairman. Prior to WrestleMania 16, every WrestleMania ended with the babyface winning in the end. Whether it was somebody winning their first major title or another win for Hulk Hogan, it was always about the babyface being triumphant in the end. With a McMahon in every corner, Vince was there to support The Rock (the top babyface) while his daughter Stephanie was supporting her husband Triple H, who was the WWE Champion, Linda was there for Mick Foley and Shane was there for Big Show. After several years of being a jerk, it looked like Vince was a good guy. Nope. He turned on Rock with two chair shots to the head. They did the happy ending finish with Rock getting his revenge to end the show and he'd win the WWE Title at the Backlash PPV, but the heel Triple H retaining the WWE Title is what everybody remembers. Looking back, it was really well done even if it did piss people off. Isn't that what heels are supposed to do?
