It hasn't been his most high profile year in WWE, but John Cena still holds star power like no one else. You only need to attend a WWE show to realise those who don't like this guy are the vocal minority - swathes of people kitted out in his merchandise make up the majority of most WWE shows. Sure you roll through Chicago for a PPV and he's hated, but roll into a regular town for a regular show and he's the man people want to see. Cena's ring work gets criticised, but more often than not his matches are usually entertaining fare. His February 17th match with Cesaro was a particular stunner, easily in the top five matches of 2014. Even the less interesting clashes against Orton at Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber match were still of an ok standard. The same can be said of the Wyatt matches Cena contested, they weren't great, but they were a decent watch. Cena's microphone work is similarly inconsistent, he is confident on the stick, but it isn't always the best delivery. He makes it high on the list mainly because when he does get it right (see the Cesaro match) he is absolutely one of the best in the company. At the end of the day, most guys on this list would kill to be John Cena, he has the knack of being a star which most guys will never learn. No one works harder than WWE's franchise star.
