With most wrestlers hitting their prime in their 30's, it can be hard for the younger guys to get over and garner the spotlight. Most of the guys on this list have had success, however none of them have reached the pinacle of their profession by capturing a WWE World Heavyweight Championship but that doesn't mean that they wont in the future. I recently just did a list of the
10 best wrestlers over 40 but this article is about the future of wrestling. All of these guys have tremendous upside, of coure some will be more successful than others but they'll all have their chance to shine, some already have gotten that chance. Some of these guys may fade into obscurity but most of them will have long careers. You might want to learn to love them because most of these guys will be around for the next 10 to 15 years. First, some honorable mentions.. All 3 of these guys are some of the brightest stars of Ring of Honor. Roderick Strong (29) has had some great success in ROH. He's a former 1 time ROH World Heavyweight Champion, a 1 time tag team champion as well as a 1 time Television Champion. Roderick Strong is young, athletic, and has a good look to him. It should only be a matter of time before the WWE scoops him up. Another former ROH World Heavyweight Champion is none other than Kevin Steen (29). Wrestling's Worst Nightmare has impressed many since entering ROH. He made the World Title relavant again and cut some amazing promos in the process. Now he might not have the ideal look but Kevin Steen is a good wrestler. I don't think he'll ever make it to the WWE but I do think he can have a very good career from the outside looking in. Last but not least is one of my favorites, Tommaso Ciampa (28). If he was more well known he'd have cracked the top 10. The Sicilian Psychopath is an up and coming STAR in wrestling. With a great look,
incredible finisher and as a solid in ring technician, I have no doubt we'll be seeing Tommaso on TV soon, one way or another.
