10. Roddy Piper Hits Jimmy Snuka With A Coconut (July 17, 1984)
This isn't a moment that required somebody to put their body on the line to take a huge bump. It was a lot simpler than that. It was one man hitting another with a coconut. It was much more than that, though. Roddy Piper was the best heel in WWE in the 1980s and his Piper's Pit segment was one of the most talked about things on WWE TV shows. What he did with Jimmy Snuka in 1984 was give us one of the most iconic moments in the history of WWE. Even non-wrestling fans know about this. Piper was being a bully to Snuka, who barely said anyting. All he really said was that Piper made fun of him. Then Piper grabbed a coconut and he hit Snuka in the head with it. Snuka went crashing into the set. He was stunned by it. Piper went on to beat up Snuka using his belt. It's the coconut spot that people never forget. Maybe it wouldn't be a huge deal in 2014, but for its time it was one of the most talked about segments ever. They really pushed the envelope with this segment. It worked perfectly.
