4. Mordecai/Kevin Thorne
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPCvtZisQ0E If the big-ass cross thing and general sense of religiousness didn't give it away, Mordecai was a religious lunatic who debuted on our TV screens in 2004. Despite being treated to vignettes touting Mordecai's arrival on the WWE scene for weeks on end, Mordecai eventually debuted with a complete whimper, defeating Scotty 2 Hotty and doing nothing whatsoever except annoying people with his dullness as he tried to make us pray. He only lasted a few weeks before he vanished completely from our screens entirely. In reality he was sent to WWE's developmental territory for a bit more training in the big leagues, but this gimmick proved there's no room for a poor religious gimmick in the WWE. After a while being trained, Mordecai made his long-awaited (yeah, right) return as, naturally, a vampire. Rebranded as Kevin Thorne and working for WWE ECW, he was paired up with a young lady known as Ariel who was, allegedly, a tarot-card reader. This led to nothing whatsoever as Thorne was meant to be part of a group of vampires alongside former crazy vampiric-type Gangrel, but this never happened. A missed opportunity perhaps, or was the vampiric Kevin Thorne simply not sparkly enough a vampire? We'll never know - Thorne is now gone from the WWE and only leaves behind a faint sense of incense and blood.
