WWE: 10 Celebrity Guest Stars Who Should Have Wrestled
8. Pete Rose
769539Kane has had many bizarre feuds in his near two decade career, but one long-standing nemesis he's never actually wrestled is controversial baseball great Pete Rose.
Rose first appeared in WWE at WrestleMania 14 as a guest ring announcer. It was there that Kane Tombstoned him to the delight of the crowd and started what would become a running gag for the next two years. Rose would return at WrestleManias 15 and 16 and get Tombstoned twice more (the second time also receiving the dreaded Stinkface from Rikishi).
Though Rose was 56 at the time of his first attack, there's no reason why WWE couldn't have booked a short comedy match between the two at some point over their feud. After all, the man dressed up like a chicken and took a Stinkface. I'm sure a comedy match would have been well within his physical capabilities,
Rose was the first celebrity to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame (by Kane, of course). He was last seen in WWE in March of 2010 where Kane dragged him off screen for one more obligatory attack.
