WWE: 10 Divas From The 90s That We Loved

7. Alundra Blayze/Madusa

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6UWUolS6Z0 If you're looking at the best in-ring performers out of the WWE women of the 1990s she's arguably the best one they had. She had a run in WCW in the early 90s and then WWE brought her in as Alundra Blayze. The idea behind the Blayze character (nice spelling, by the way) was that WWE was going to create their own woman they could build the division around and hope the fans get behind it. They did all they could to make her the biggest face of the women's division, but a big problem was they didn't have enough villains for her to feud with. You can't have a "division" with only a handful of women. Feuds with the likes of Bull Nakano and Bertha Faye were okay, but not enough to truly captivate fans. To her credit, Blayze is a very good women's wrestler. When she went to WCW she had some really good matches and also famously dumped WWE's Women's Title in a trash can live on Nitro. That's what people most remember her by, but she was more than just that. She ended her career in WCW and hasn't had any interaction with WWE ever since she dumped their Women's Title in a trash can on Nitro.
