1. The Contract Signing
I groaned when I saw this weeks Raw main event would be the WWE championship match contract signing. It's the ultimate over done angle in wrestling, and follows the same script every single time. Table in the ring. Heel puts over how dominant he is. Face rebuffs him. Contracts signed. One of them goes through the table. It's so one-dimensional and obvious as an angle, and completely pointless as well, it isn't as if they are not going to sign the contract. Even when this whole thing was a fresh concept it was still kind of dull. It was particularly bad on this weeks Raw because neither man was really that effective in their respective promo. Cena claimed that Orton was a disappointment to Triple H and had never fulfilled his potential... Orton for the record is an 11-time champion. This contract signing finish to Raw summed up WWE's problem in general. It's all been seen and done so many times before. I challenge the WWE creative team to come up with some new concepts. I never want to see a contract signing as a Raw main event again in my life, and I really hope I'm not alone in that thought.
