A recent concussion suffered by "Captain Charisma" Christian might just be the final roadblock in his quest for "one more match". In late March Christian seemed primed for a decent push and was about to be featured in a number one contender match for Big E's Intercontinental Title. Seemingly the heavy favorite to win and chase the belt he was pulled from the match due to a concussion he suffered on the Raw against Randy Orton a couple days prior. This was especially worrisome since Christian had only recently come back from previous concussion that put him on the shelf for several months. Since the WWE has been taking their concussions very seriously Christian would have to pass an extensive concussion test before returning to the ring. Now a couple months removed Christian still hasn't returned. Whether that is purely caution, WWE waiting for the right time, or complications from the concussions has yet to be seen. If Christian does end up retiring from these brain injuries it will be another scary addition to the annals of shortened careers.
