WWE: 10 Great Ideas For Raw The Night After WrestleMania 30

7. Sheamus Turns On John Cena

The Raw after WrestleMania hasn't worked out very well for John Cena in recent years. The night after WrestleMania XXVIII, Brock Lesnar returned to WWE for the first time since 2004 and planted Cena with a vicious F5. Last year, after WrestleMania XXIX, then-WWE Champion Cena was laid out by his supposed friend, Ryback. It's clear Cena places a little bit too much focus on the show of shows and lets his guard down the next night. Sheamus has been one of the biggest babyfaces in WWE over the past couple of years, but he's been somewhat aimless since returning at the Royal Rumble. While the Celtic Warrior was once firmly #2 after Cena, he's been leapfrogged by Daniel Bryan and is, at best, a distant #3. Despite losing high-level faces (Punk's departure, Batista's turn), rumors are still swirling that Sheamus will once again be a heel before too long. The night after WrestleMania is the perfect time for Sheamus to turn and really make an impact €“ after all, the world is watching and John Cena is ripe for the taking. Plus, the post-'Mania Raw crowd hasn't treated Sheamus too kindly the past couple of years €“ what better opportunity will he have to turn his back on the WWE Universe?
