WWE: 10 Greatest Ever Elimination Chamber Moments

7. Triple H's Four Wins

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A0E2-DBQw8 Whether you love him or hate him, there is no denying that Triple H enjoyed one of the longest periods of success in WWE history. And when backing up that fact, you just have to look at his success in the early Elimination Chamber matches. Out of the first eight Elimination Chamber matches, The Game participated in five of those matches. He was the final man eliminated in the first Chamber, and in the following four matches he was involved in, he won. In fact, from Summerslam 2003 onwards, The Cerebral Assassin didn't lose an Elimination Chamber match until 2010. Over that period of time, he defeated some of the biggest stars of the modern era, such as Randy Orton, Edge, Jeff Hardy and The Undertaker. Of his four wins though, it is Summerslam 2003 that sticks in the mind as the most memorable. In what was arguably the strongest Chamber line-up ever, The Game lined up against Chris Jericho, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton and Goldberg. At the time, only Randy Orton had not been a World Champion, and was only a year away from becoming the youngest World champion in WWE history. It was also at this time that Goldberg was making major waves in the WWE. Having Speared The Rock on the first Raw after Wrestlemania XIX, he went on to defeat The Brahma Bull at Backlash before embarking on a feud with one time WCW rival, Chris Jericho. Now, Goldberg had his sights on the World Heavyweight Championship, and his Elimination Chamber debut was seemingly going to be a huge success. Entering the match as the sixth and final contender, he proceeded to eliminate Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho. With Kevin Nash already eliminated, it was down to Bill and The Game. Like in so many situations before and after Summerslam 03, The Game did whatever it took to retain his belt. When it seemed as though his opponent was on a procession to the World title , Hunter was handed his trusty Sledgehammer by Ric Flair, using the weapon as Goldberg attempted a second spear, and winning his first of four Elimination Chamber matches. It is for perseverance and the 'Win at any costs' attitude that sees The Cerebral Assassin enter this countdown at number 7.
