WWE: 10 Greatest Ever Elimination Chamber Moments

3. Edge - No Way Out 2009

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpR03Egfaeo Edge is featured once again at number three on our countdown, and his double duty performance at No Way Out 2009 is what gets him there. Starting the night as the WWE Champion, The Rated R Superstar entered his second career Elimination Chamber match as the number one entrant, starting the match alongside Jeff Hardy. However, his interest the match lasted less than three minutes, as he was pinned with a cradle by Hardy. Before the night was through though, Edge once again demonstrated why he was called The Ultimate Opportunist. As Kofi Kingston made his way out to enter the chamber, he was attacked by Edge, who took his place inside the Chamber. Not only that, but upon entering the match at number 5, he eliminated the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, John Cena, with a Spear. Leaving himself, Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio in the match, Edge was close to leaving No Way Out with a World championship. After Mysterio eliminated Jericho, it was down to two men. After six frantic minutes of battle, Edge managed to hit a Spear on Rey, allowing him to get the pin, and in the process, win his fourth World Heavyweight Championship. That night, Edge created histories at the both ends of the spectrum. At the time, his elimination after 2 minutes and 59 seconds was the quickest of all time inside the Chamber, and he was also the first reigning champion to be eliminated first. However, later that night, he was the first man to enter two Elimination Chamber's in the same night, and became only the fifth man (at the time) to win a Chamber match. Edge would go on to compete in his final Elimination Chamber match in 2011, where as the defending World Heavyweight Champion, he outlasted Kane, The Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre, to win his second Chamber match. One month later at Wrestlemania 27, he defeated Alberto Del Rio in what proved to be the final match in a Hall of Fame career. To this date, he is still the only man to compete in two Chamber's in the same night, a feat worthy of a place at number 3.
