WWE: 10 Hilarious Sources Of Wrestling Humour

8. Review-A-Wai

Wai

What it is: A podcast in which a pair of wrestling afficionados, John Pollock and Wai Ting, watch classic (and not-so-classic) wrestling events from the past -- and, on occasion, adult films starring Chyna. The wrestling events they review are frequently ones that have not stood the test of time, making the reviews hilariously unflattering. Why it's funny: The chemistry -- or sometimes palpable lack thereof -- between Pollock and Ting makes them compellingly listenable. Pollock's encyclopedic wrestling knowledge and enthusiasm is counterbalanced by Ting's deadpan, Steven Wright-ish delivery. You'll enjoy it if: You love revisiting events wrestling's past -- especially the bad ones -- but don't have the time or inclination to actually rewatch them. Pollock and Ting suffer for our enjoyment. A few examples: No Holds Barred (download) WCW SuperBrawl I (download) See No Evil (download)
