10 Hopes For Brock Lesnar Now WWE Has Got Behind Him

8. A Rematch With John Cena

At Extreme Rules 2012, Brock Lesnar was defeated by John Cena in one of the best matches of either man€™s career. Lesnar was fresh off his run with the UFC, and Cena was looking to regain momentum after being defeated by The Rock at Wrestlemania 28. Lesnar spent the entire match suplexing, and torturing a bloodied Cena only to meet a steel chain assisted right hand, that would lead to his defeat. Within 10 seconds of the opening bell Cena was busted open the hard way with an elbow. It was one of the hardest hitting matches of all-time. Many fans thought this was a burial of the highest degree, but Lesnar really wasn€™t damaged by the loss, as he soon was tussling with Triple H, and defeated him at SummerSlam a few months later. With a match that great, a Cena vs Lesnar rematch should be in the hopes, and dreams of ALL wrestling fans. Maybe years from now where the roles are reversed. Neither man has a problem putting his body on the line, nor dare I say, shedding blood for the occasion.
