Somewhat dispelling Cena's image as an all-American jock is his professed love of the geek-exalted Japanese art form known as Anime. In a 2009 interview with Men's Fitness magazine, Cena confessed that he's a mark for "Japanamation," (as he and many bewildered-but-trying dads call it). He even cited "Fist of the North Star," the 1986 adaptation of the Manga series of the same name, as one of his favorite movies. Cenas appreciation for anime puts him in league with the nerdiest of fanboys, a demographic that famously dismisses the million-time world champion as a manufactured superstar rather than a serious wrestling artist, proving that common ground can exist between even the most disparate and warring of parties. Of course, in the same interview he also professes himself a cigar aficionado. That's more like it. John!
