WWE: 10 Major Predictions After WrestleMania 30

9. Alexander Rusev Will Win The Intercontinental Title

Rusev Lana Once WrestleMania is over, expect the Bulgarian Bruiser to get a lot of air time. He's already getting more air time than some people on the roster simply by having his manager Lana talk about him while he also talks about himself. We can't understand it, but they sure like to talk. Big E has been the IC Champion since November. Since he's been champion the most noteworthy thing we can say about him is that he lost his last name of Langston. He really hasn't had a feud for the title. He's not defending it at WrestleMania. There's really no reason for him to hold the title if he isn't going to defend it. A title match on Main Event this week? It's not that exciting. Since WWE has high hopes for Rusev, it's possible that they might want to put the IC Title on him quickly after he becomes a full timer on the main roster. If they really want him to be a star from the get go, put that gold on him and see what he can do. Chances are he'll thrive as a dominant heel champion. It's not like they're going to put the WWE World Title on him anytime soon. At least with the IC Title it can be a bit of a test run. It doesn't have to hurt Big E either. Maybe he can win Money in the Bank or move up the ladder by feuding with guys like Orton or Batista when they're out of the title picture.
