As the video shows, it dates all the way back to 1949, a time where midget wrestling was making the transition from being a small public viewing to mainstream televised entertainment. Here, the competitors are not being made fun of, they€™re not the butt of any jokes by the commentator for the match, and they€™re not pulling off any of the slapstick humor that you would normally find in modern day wrestling shows. Instead, this is a pure wrestling match with plenty of back and forth from both sides. Ivan the Terrible and Sky Low Low in particular made for a great heel team that knew how to time their dirty tricks and make the face team look great at the end. While they may have been small to a point where the referee had to talk to them on his knees, they still were able to go out and put in a great performance for the fans.
