So technically this only counts as a midget match because one of the participants happens to be a little person. The other, on the other hand, is the largest athlete in the world today. Sounds fair, right? When the biggest and the smallest share the same roster, it seems only inevitable that the two would be put into a match against each other. Hornswoggle, who at the time had a Leprechaun gimmick, was beloved by the fans for his silly behavior and his tendency to bite people on the butt (as Leprechauns tend to do.) Big Show, meanwhile, was in the middle of a program with John Cena where he laid the champ out with a brutal camel clutch finisher. Knowing this, Hornswoggle put on his bravest face and stepped into the ring. What followed was six minutes of an uncomfortable match where Show dominated Hornswoggle like he was a little kid. He even toyed with Hornswoggle and allowed him a free splash off the top. Show, being the big jerk that he was at the time, moved out of the way and caused Hornswoggle to crash on the mat. Before Show could do further damage, Goldust (the regular sized version) came out and interfered causing the DQ win for Show. His reward was a chokeslam followed by that very same camel clutch used to take out Cena. While Hornswoggle and Show became an official match, its fortunate that Show didnt finish the job with Hornswoggle.
