Wrestling fans love the Royal Rumble match. Its always fun, surprising, and it paints a picture for what is to be expected for WrestleMania two months later. On one particular episode of Monday Night Raw on January 14th, 2008, the Royal Rumble was not only shown ahead of its listed Sunday schedule, but it was also reduced to a snack sized portion as midgets took over for regular wrestlers. Arranged by Mr. McMahon himself, the star of the Mini Royal Rumble was his illegitimate son Hornswoggle (Get used to seeing him pop up) who started as the number one entry in the match. What followed were appearances from miniature versions of Mr. Kennedy, Mankind, Kane, and Batista. Hornswoggle put on a good showing as he took out each competitor one by one. Fortunately for this particular match, all Hornswoggle had to do was throw his opponents through the middle ropes. That still didnt stop the son of McMahon from press slamming Mini Kennedy over the top. Just when it looked like Hornswoggle was going to win, an actual sized Great Kahli came out and stepped into the ring. Fortunately Hornswoggles buddy Finlay arrived to attack Kahli with his trademark shillelagh. With Kahli disposed of, Hornswoggle managed to win the match and live to fight at the real Royal Rumble.
