8. Umaga
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1qe0xDo92I During a promo by Hall of Famer Ric Flair the night after WrestleMania 22, Armanda Alejandro Estrada came to ringside, showering the Nature Boy with praise as a one-time fan of Flair's, whom Estrada now considered old. Estrada then offered the fans a chance to watch a new hero, and introduced the WWE Universe to Umaga (formerly Jamal of 3 Minute Warning) to Raw. Umaga, a destructive savage in the same design as The Wild Samoans and The Headshrinkers, proceeded to attack Flair violently, hitting him with chops, kicks, headbutts, and a Samoan drop/suplex. Umaga would defeat Flair at Backlash that year, and went on to wrestler near the top of the card for his four-year run, including two reigns as Intercontinental Champion. Unfortunately, Umaga was released in June of 2009 after his second violation of the WWE Wellness Policy and refusal to enter treatment afterwards. He passed away in December of 1996 at the age of 36 from two massive heart attacks brought on by acute toxicity due to a combination of prescription drugs in his system.
