Demolition first formed in 1987 as a tag team, but by 1990 they added Crush to Ax and Smash to make them a trio of Superstars who were WWE's answer to The Road Warriors. There were a lot of similarities between the two teams. The rock theme, face paint and stiff style were a few of the biggest similarities, but there were plenty more.
