Make no mistake about it, Cody Rhodes was primed to win this match last year. When Damien Sandow pushed Rhodes off the ladder and grabbed the briefcase, the supposed "best friends" seemed ready to start a feud with one another, sadly the two never really had the payoff pay per view match that the ladder match set up. Sandow would go on to lose his match with John Cena upon attempting to cash in. Both men haven't seen the main event scene since their split. With another split pending, this time with Cody's brother Goldust, Money In The Bank could once again be Cody's chance to break free from tag team mold and establish himself as a singles superstar. Rhodes is primed for winning this match once The Brotherhood goes their separate ways. A win for Rhodes would be redemption for the American Dream's son and give him that singles push into the main event championship scene that he needs to prove he isn't just a tag team specialist.
