The WWE World Heavyweight Champion has made history by defeating John Cena to unify both of the major championships and has solidified himself as the face of the WWE. This is where Batista steps in. Both men enjoyed success as part of Evolution but truly broke out as star individuals once they left the faction. Capturing countless World Heavyweight and WWE Championships but who has been and remains the better man out of the two? A feud between them can settle it once and for all. One way the WWE could make this work is by having Batista enter the Royal Rumble, which does look like a likely scenario at this moment in time. This can then result in Batista actually winning the Royal Rumble upon his return and then go on to challenge Randy Orton for his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania XXX. Understandably the fans would not want Batista to win the Rumble €“ especially so quickly after returning €“ and they especially will not want Batista headlining WrestleMania. But if a Batista and Randy Orton feud is the road the WWE want to go down and Orton has to lose his championship then so be it as there are other alternatives to choose from. A feud will mean Triple H will be involved in one way or another. Controlling Randy Orton and if Batista is a face then Triple H will be ordering Randy Orton to finish Batista once and for all. Proving that he deserves to be the face of the WWE. Although this match could be at a slower pace it would certainly be interesting to watch both men go at it and would gain enough interest from the fans to make this match and this feud a success. A match without the belt could have even more on the line, perhaps Orton can represent Triple H and Batista can represent Vince McMahon with the winner gaining control of the WWE. If this feud remains tense and creative enough then there is no doubt a match between Randy Orton and a returning Batista could headline any event.
