WWE: 10 Questions You Most Want Answered (April 19)
10. Cena's Promos Of Late
From @MickieSteeler74: With Cena's recent promos do you think his time is going to be spent working with young talent?
It certainly appears to be the case because he's been doing the same promo week after week talking about how he's the "measuring stick" in WWE. That's his way of saying "if somebody wants to be a top guy in this company they have to go through me because I've proven myself for the past decade" and so on. Cena's at the point in his career where, as a guy that's going to be 37 years old this year, he's in the later stages in his career. If he's healthy he might have another five years left as a full timer. It's not like he's ever going to get out of shape, so as long as his body can hold up he'll still be one of the biggest names in WWE. It makes sense that they would want to book Cena against younger talent. That's what they should do. It happens to everybody in the business. With that said, though, it's always a possibility that he's going to be in the WWE Title picture at any time. If business goes down or somebody disappoints management, they know they can go back to Cena and at some point they will.
