From @Scarby_Darbs: I like the Ziggler/Miz feud, but why not have Flair get involved and manage one of those guys? He's not doing anything else.
It's a good idea because Flair is currently doing nothing in WWE right now. Part of the problem with Flair as a manager is that he would take the spotlight from whoever he is with. A manager should be there to enhance a talent the way Paul Heyman and Zeb Colter is. Flair's used to being the man. It's not easy to just step back, be in the background and put somebody else over when you have spent 40 years talking about how great you are. If Flair managed Miz it wouldn't work. Flair would get cheered too much. Miz is supposed to be a jerk heel that is conceited because he's "made it" in Hollywood, which isn't necessarily true. It's just a character. Ziggler is back feuding for a midcard title he was fighting for four years ago. He's taken a step back. They need to get him back to where he was on his own. Maybe they could have Flair give him a motivational pep talk or something like that, but to make him his permanent manager would do more harm than good. Clearly WWE doesn't know what to do with Flair right now, but I'm not sure that pairing him with Ziggler or Miz would be the answer. Thank you for the questions.
