That's a no for me. This kind of question pops up once in a while. While WWE should do a better job of promoting both titles and have the champions defend them more often, there's no need to combine them. Since there is only one WWE Title now, the IC & US Titles are the only other singles titles that male wrestlers can go for. They can be used to create feuds, to elevate wrestlers that can get to that next level and to hopefully remind fans how valuable those titles (especially the IC Title) once were. Sheamus is the US Champion and the Miz is the IC Champ right now. Both are former WWE Champions, so they are using them as guys to make the titles feel more prestigious. It's going okay right now. It could be better. However, it would be foolish to just unify those titles because then there'd only be two singles titles for male wrestlers to win. They need more.
