From @peter_c1: Now that CM Punk's contract has ended, do you think it could start getting nasty between him and WWE?
If you're referring to something like a lawsuit or some kind of legal battles over his quitting then I would say probably not. There are some people within WWE that are likely really mad that he left and they have every right to feel that way. WWE invested years in Punk as a performer to build him up into a top guy the last three years. Then he just left when he was unhappy. It sucks, but it happened. Every time you hear "CM Punk" chants in a WWE arena it's because the fans miss the guy. They didn't get to say goodbye or expect it to happen. They also chant it at his wife AJ Lee, who just shrugs her shoulders at them while the announcers totally ignore it. When WWE released their new Paul Heyman DVD, Punk's comments were included. They could have edited them out. They didn't. Maybe WWE thinks he could come back in a year or two. He might. You never know. There's no reason for WWE to pursue legal matters. It's not worth the time or effort.
