2. How Many PPVs Per Year?

From @rocco_619: In the 1980s there was 4 PPVs per year whereas now there's 12. Which is better: Seeing regular PPV matches monthly or anticipation and build up?
First of all way PPVs have been presented since 1995 has seen them go with a monthly show. It's been that way for 20 years. It's not going to change. That time in the late 1980s and early 1990s with four (or five when King of the Ring was added in 1993) PPVs per year is never going to come back again. There was definitely something cool about having only four PPVs per year because that was also in the day when we didn't have Raw every week. For the big angles we had to watch Superstars or some other big angle to see stories develop. It was cool for the time period, but it would never work today. My preference is how things are today. That's probably because we've become used it for the past 20 years. What WWE has to do is make every show seem more special. Right now they don't always do that and it's a problem for shows like Battleground that feels like a minor show compared to Money in the Bank and SummerSlam.
