WWE: 10 Questions You Most Want Answered (July 19)

2. More Emphasis On The Divas

From @MartinProffitt: Have you noticed more emphasis on the women's division lately? And who or what could improve it further?
It certainly seems that way because of the air time they are getting. We've got the Divas Title feud where it looks like Paige is going to turn heel against AJ Lee, we've got the Funkadactyl girls breaking up with Cameron going heel on Naomi and then Stephanie McMahon's story with Brie Bella that has seen Nikki Bella get punished on a weekly basis. It's been reported that there's going to be a Stephanie McMahon match against Brie Bella at SummerSlam. My guess is they'll say that if Brie loses the match then Nikki Bella will get fired too, but then we'll see Brie end up as the winner. They can obviously use this storyline in Total Divas, which has some ridiculous storylines on that show all the time. It's not breaking news to say that "reality TV" is scripted as much as pro wrestling is. There are a number of girls at the NXT level that are not only ready for the main roster, but they are better than the likes of Cameron, Eva Marie, Rosa Mendes and others on the main roster. Women like Charlotte (the daughter of Ric Flair), Sasha Banks, Bailey and Alexa Bliss will all be stars on Raw/Smackdown if they are given the chance. The problem is they're not going to call them all up at once, so they have to figure out when is the right time to use them. As a fan of women's wrestling it's really nice to see that they're getting more attention. While I don't particularly care about the Funkadactyls breaking up (Naomi is pretty good at least), the other stories on the main roster and the matches on NXT are pretty solid. Hopefully it continues.
