WWE: 10 Questions You Most Want Answered (July 26)

3. Best Dream Matches That Never Happened

From @C17Swampy: Best dream match we could have had, but never got?
There are a lot of potential answers for this, but I feel like it would be right if I just picked one match that could have happened: Shawn Michaels vs. Eddie Guerrero. Eddie joined WWE in 2000. Shawn returned to the ring in 2002. Since Shawn was mostly a Raw guy while Eddie was mostly a Smackdown guy they never had a match. Sadly, Eddie passed away in 2005 and we never got to see it. Years later there were stories out there that WWE was planning a Shawn vs. Eddie match possibly at WrestleMania 22 in 2006. They would have had an incredible feud and matches. It's a shame we never got to see it. It would have been great to see Kurt Angle vs. Bret Hart just because they wrestled in a similar style and those matches could have been amazing. However, Bret was out of WWE when Kurt started and Bret's early retirement in early 2000 killed any chance of it happening. If we're talking about the most profitable and biggest one then that's definitely Steve Austin vs. Hulk Hogan. They were actually in a tag match on Raw with Austin teaming up with The Rock while Hogan was with Kevin Nash & Scott Hall, but there was no Austin vs. Hogan match in WWE.
