1. A Gimmick Character As World Champion
WWE.com
From @RobynGrayson_: Do you think we can ever have a gimmick character (Undertaker for example) as the World Champion again? I see guys join the main roster and in NXT like Fandango, Adam Rose and Aiden English and wonder how they could be champ.
It's definitely tougher to be a World Champion when you have a gimmick like those ones you mentioned. However, there is a guy that can definitely do it: Bray Wyatt. That's because Wyatt is the kind of performer that really stands out from the pack and has all the tools to be a future World Champion. When you can have good matches like Wyatt does, deliver unique promos that make him stand out and continue to improve every time you're out there then a guy like that can definitely be "the man" one day soon. It's probably going to happen for him within the next three years. As for some of the other guys you mentioned, they might be too over the top. Not every character is designed to be a main event level performer. You need some guys to be midcarders. There's nothing wrong with being one of those guys. It's a good question, but I think there can be guys like Wyatt and others that have unique gimmicks that can become top guys. It's up to the wrestler to be good enough. More importantly the creative team needs to get behind the person like they did with Undertaker 24 years ago too.
