It was handled wrong. They should have won more than they did. That whole storyline with The Nexus and John Cena was pretty bad. Even though Cena was "fired" he was on TV all the time. He even worked house shows wearing a mask under the name of Juan Cena, which was pretty ridiculous. When Barrett challenged Randy Orton for the WWE Title at Bragging Rights in October 2010 a lot of people thought he might win the gold. It may have been a case of WWE not wanting to put Barrett over that strongly since he was pretty new at that point. They should have done a better job of ending the original Nexus, but by the end of 2010 the group had really run its course. Stretching it to WrestleMania 27 would have been difficult. Looking back at 2010 it really wasn't a strong year for WWE. Things got better in 2011.
