From @KimsanSong: Would you like to see stars built up by climbing the ranks and win every title before the World Title instead of winning WWE World Title before others?
It's an interesting question because we've seen WWE build up guys in different ways over the years. A lot of them win the Intercontinental Title or some secondary title before becoming main eventers. That holds true for the likes of Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H and so many more. Sometimes guys become top performers without winning those secondary titles like Undertaker and Brock Lesnar. Most of them did win secondary titles before their major one, though. A lot of it depends on the character. If you look at the current roster, there are guys like Bray Wyatt and Rusev that could be built up into main event players that don't really need secondary titles. They can just go after the big one. It would make sense. Whether it happens for either, we have no idea at this point. There are advantages to doing it both ways. I think it's better to have guys win in the IC or US Title before the World Title because it shows whether they can be a viable champion and put on quality matches. It makes sense that WWE would "fast track" some guys too.
