From @coolio83: Of the potential matches that could have happened in WWE history which one are you most sad didn't? And why?
There are many ways to answer that and several possible choices, but there are two that really jump out at me whenever I see a question like that. The first one that is obvious is Steve Austin vs. Hulk Hogan. Part of the reason it didn't happen is because Austin didn't think their styles really meshed well and he didn't think it would be a very good match. He might regret it now because a match between them would have been huge for the business, but it didn't happen in a singles format in WWE. There was a handicap tag with Austin and Rock teaming up against Hogan, Hall and Nash though. Another potential match that I wish we saw at least once was Shawn Michaels vs. Eddie Guerrero. Since Shawn was a Raw guy and Eddie was a Smackdown guy, they never had a singles match. There have been stories about how they would have had a feud in 2006, but that didn't happen because Eddie died in late 2005. With Shawn in the face role and Eddie in the heel role, it would have been incredible. As always with something like this there are plenty of other choices too, but those are the two that I always think about.
