WWE: 10 Questions You Most Want Answered (May 10)

6. The US Title's Future

From: @jermaine611: Will WWE try to do something with the US Title since Sheamus has it now? It would make a lot of sense for them to make the US Title matter again now that there's a new US Champion. Dean Ambrose had a title reign that lasted nearly a year, but the title became a joke because of how rarely he actually defended it. That's something that WWE has to learn from. For any title to matter, the holder has to defend it at least two or three times per month on TV and PPVs. The best way for a title to matter more is if the person holding it is booked in a respectable way. If the title holder loses it after putting the gold on the line repeatedly then whoever beats that person becomes a bigger deal. Since Sheamus is a guy that has been a former WWE and World Champion he brings a lot of credibility to the US Title. It's not below him to hold it. There's only one WWE Title now, so guys like him are going to have to hold the US Title and in the end that makes the title seem more valuable. Something to keep an eye on with Sheamus is that he's rumored to turn heel possibly by the end of this month or in June. He'll likely have a lengthy run as US Champ.
