From @JBHuskers: The Shield face run is pretty successful. Can they buck the rumors and still thrive another year plus with a face Reigns as the champ, Ambrose & Rollins could hold the secondary or Tag Titles, feud with Authority for a year?
It's a nice thought, but it seems very unlikely. The best thing for the angle is the inevitable heel turn of Ambrose & Rollins because it would allow Reigns to shine more as a babyface. If they're all together for another year then it could get pretty boring. Reigns is the one that is likely going to get pushed the fastest, so if they want him to really stand out then he should be on his own without his buddies there to save him. It's just how WWE likes to book the faces. You don't see anybody ever helping Cena or Bryan because it makes them look weak to have buddies at their side. A face on his own is a bigger star in WWE's eyes. It would be very surprising to me to see The Shield stay together past SummerSlam this year. I think Rollins & Ambrose are going heel before that.
