The short answer is yes. The long answer is that there is no reason for WWE to change their current direction because it's making them money and they're doing well in terms of sponsors that wouldn't touch them when they were TV14. Remember the days of Castrol GTX as the main sponsor? They have much bigger and better companies now compared to when a motor oil was a big sponsor for them. Having a PG, family friendly type of product is what WWE wants to have. They went to the more aggressive style in the late 1990s because they needed to do something to change things. It's not like the Attitude Era was only successful because of the sex, violence and strong language. It was also because of the talent on the roster. They may never have a roster that good again. The wrestling business has been and always will be intended as a "fun for the whole family" type of show and I don't see why WWE would change things now or any time in the near future. It's hard to know what they will do in 5 years, 10 years or further down the road, but I think as fans we should just accept that they're a PG company that likely isn't going to change any time soon.
