6. Hulk Hogan vs Randy Savage

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KSjB-VBI2I They were once the Mega Powers, arguably the two biggest stars and one of the biggest drawing tag teams in the history of professional wrestling. They were led to the ring by Savage's real life wife, and their on-screen valet Miss Elizabeth. What was then a united front became a bitter rivalry, as tensions began to grow between the two. Miss Elizabeth became entrapped in the middle of these two huge behemoths. Quite like the Matt Hardy and Lita scenario that you may be familiar with (more on that later), this situation became a real life problem. It started as an angle, but blossomed into a full blown legit affair between Hogan and Elizabeth. Randy was notoriously protective of his lady, and would often lock her behind closed doors backstage, so that none of the boys could talk to her. That rumour may or may not be true. Another widely spread rumour involves Hulk's face and Wrestlemania 9. The well documented competitive edge between the two became exacerbated when Hogan apparently threatened to no show the event if he wasn't given the title. This didn't go down too well with Savage, who gave him a black eye, or so the story goes. The two "brothers" eventually broke up and the resentment between them continued to fester even during their time in WCW. Even in the modern era, Savage threatened to no show his TNA bookings if Hogan joined. By all accounts, they had finally reconciled their differences shortly before the Macho Man's untimely passing in 2011.
