WWE: 10 Reasons Facing John Cena At WrestleMania 30 Is Actually Bad For Bray Wyatt’s Career

Shield vs. Wyatts III Is Far More Compelling

Can we be honest? Bray Wyatt/John Cena isn't the match we want to see, right? I mean for all intents and purposes I see why they went in this direction, but it's not as if wrestling fans everywhere were clamoring to see Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena. I for one would have been far more excited to see Shield vs. Wyatts III on the other hand. The idea of seeing those six men face off one more time in a tornado style six-man street fight is what Wrestlemania should be all about as far as I'm concerned. Giving the fans matches they are dying to see on the biggest stage in all of sports entertainment. The Shield and The Wyatts simply click in a way that Bray Wyatt and John Cena will never click for me. The Shield battle The Wyatt Family's fear mongering and oddness with tactical precision and unmatched aggression. More importantly The Shield match the intensity of The Wyatts. They take their war with this backwoods cult leader and his two massive followers very seriously and it's evident in the way that they interact with them in and out of the ring. The Shield don't sing at Bray, they don't crack jokes, they go to war, and that kind of intensity is the reason people were chanting "This Is Awesome" at Elimination Chamber before they laid a finger on one another. I just think the continuation of this war, and the match that the The Wyatts and The Shield could have put on at Wrestlemania XXX would dwarf Bray vs. Cena in terms of excitement and quality. No matter how good Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena is, it won't be the match we're dying to see. Wrestlemania is all about creating moments that will live on forever; it's the showcase of the immortals after all. This match with John Cena is actually bad for Bray Wyatt's career because the prospective match of the year and kind of match Wrestlemania moments are made of, The Shield vs. The Wyatts part III, is being left on the table in lieu of a match and rivalry that frankly pales in comparison.
