WWE: 10 Reasons You Should Be A Fan Right Now

1. The Live Experience

Damien Sandow The absolute best thing about WWE for me is going to a WWE live event. The first live event I ever went to was about 25 years ago when I was 8 years old. The last one I went to was in September at a house show where I sat row one and the day after that I was at the WWE Night of Champions PPV in good seats. I've been to two WrestleManias (27 and 28), other PPVs, many Raw & Smackdown tapings and probably more house shows than anything else in my life. I've gone as a child with my dad and uncles. I've also had a chance to take my own nephews when they were kids. If you want to really have fun at a WWE live event, take a five year old. The reactions they have are genuine. The things they say might surprise you. It will likely remind you why you're a fan of the wrestling business in the first place. I enjoy the house shows more than anything else because you get over two hours of in-ring action. The talent gets a chance to let loose a bit because there's no worry of botching a move that might be on TV. I've been to TV tapings where there was maybe 30 minutes of total in-ring action because of all the promos and backstage skits. I'm not paying $50 (or whatever the price) to watch the big screen. I want to watch matches up close. So if WWE has a house show in your area, think about going to it because it's just as fun as a TV event if not better. If you're a WWE fan, go to live shows if you can. It's worth the price of admission. It's worth the travel time. You'll see fans of all ages. You'll chant along with thousands of strangers. You'll feel like you're part of the show. Chances are, you'll really like it too.
