http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yG1tPjJpaWg The smartest women wrestlers are usually the ones that realize the majority of the audience are guys, so it's best to wear attire that guys are going to like. In other words, it's okay to show some skin. Since WWE went PG in 2008, women have dressed more conservatively simply because the company is trying to project more of a family environment. From around 1998 to 2008, women dressed a lot more freely. From Sable wearing an outfit that was only handprints on her chest to Ashley Massaro doing the same thing, women in wrestling have certainly pushed the envelope. In Mickie's case, her attire when she really took off in WWE saw her wearing really short skirts that offered a peak at what was underneath. It's not like she was the only one doing it. Melina was known for doing the splits on the ropes while in a similar short skirt. Speaking of her outfits, she was always one of the best women's wrestlers in terms of thinking of creative attire for Halloween segments too. From Lara Croft to Wonder Woman and even Trish Stratus, Mickie has been able to pull off a lot of different outfits in her career. Women in wrestling work hard for their bodies. They are smart to show them off. If you've got it, you might as well as share it with the world. It's fair to say that part of Mickie's success is in part due to the fact that she's a gorgeous woman that is proud of the way she looks.
