http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O51L5Sdx37c A finishing move is key for any wrestler. They need to have something to finish opponents off. In Mickie's case, her jumping DDT became her signature move. Fans always know when it's coming because she set it up with a big yell too. That's smart of her because it builds up anticipation whether the move hit or was countered. What is cool about Mickie's DDT is that it's more complicated than a basic DDT. Instead of simply grabbing a headlock and dropping down to the mat, it's a leaping DDT. She uses her legs to jump in the air, which allows the move to bring even more pain when she connects with it. When you have a finisher that looks like it knocks somebody out, that's when it's the most effective. When you see the highlights of the move, you can see some women are better at taking at than others. It's not a hard bump, though. The best finishers are the ones that look great and this one does. She's also used a "Mick Kick" aka a spinning back kick as a finisher. In TNA, she introduced a submission move that was similar to a STF although reverse. All those moves showed that she's always been very adept at adapting her game, so to speak.
