7. Drew Carey
If you ordered the 2001 Royal Rumble, the price was not right for the show when Drew Carey walked out. Earlier in the night on Sunday Night Heat, there was a tag match with Kaientai taking on Low Down. The winning team got to choose one of their members to compete in the Royal Rumble. This would give them a chance at their life long dream of becoming World Champion. It had to have been an incredibly exciting opportunity. Finally, all those years of travelling up and down the roads, being away from their families and taking one beating after another was about to pay off. Well, it didn't matter who won. WWE just gave the shot to Drew Carey instead. What? Was Tim Allen busy that night? Now, it was pretty idiotic for Carey to accept the offer in the first place. He had to have known that he would get destroyed. But he went in, and found himself alone in the ring when the Hardy Boyz took each other out. Of course, Kane came out next (because Carey tried to shake his hand earlier in the night) and was about to Chokeslam the mildly popular TV star before Raven of all people made the save. In the end, the Whose Line is it Anyway? host spit in the face of wrestlers everywhere when he threw himself out of the ring. Years later, fans returned the favor when they booed him out of the building while being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Andrew Soucek
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
