2. Lesnar Wins The WWE Title In Elimination Chamber
Lesnar's promos from the start of 2014 have repeatedly referenced a character desire to gain the WWE Championship. It makes sense for the WWE to follow up on this, and despite his part time status, The Rock proved in 2013 that a mainstream name part timer can carry the Title for a short while. If Brock had the title from February to Mania 31, it would be perfectly doable. His name on top of the Mania 31 PPV has draw written all over it, particularly after the way we have re-established his credibility. The way to get the title on him is by putting him in February's Elimination Chamber. The Champion going in doesn't matter so much, but let's say it's Randy Orton as he hasn't clashed much with Lesnar over history. The other contenders would be the likes of Cena, Cesaro, Reigns and Batista. Lesnar starts the match and manages to overcome everyone to hit the F5 lastly on Orton for the title. This all works beautifully to set up a blockbuster WrestleMania 31 main event: WWE Champion Brock Lesnar vs Royal Rumble winner Daniel Bryan. The heel / face dynamics work brilliantly and Bryan is in his element as the underdog. Brock by this stage is firmly established as a top star and rehabilitated from his 2012/13 poorness. As WWE Champion he will also give Orton a rematch on Raw the night after the Chamber, to again score another star affirming victory.
